BYD on Motability
BYD are at the forefront of electric vehicle (EV) technology and have been making strides with its sustainable vehicle solutions.
With the increase in global awareness of environmental issues, there has been a shift towards more sustainable modes of transport. BYD's partnership with the Motability Scheme not only offers access to eco-friendly vehicles but also promotes a greener and cleaner future for all.
The Dolphin and Atto 3 are the two all-electric cars from Chinese EV manufacturer BYD, currently available on the motability scheme.
How does the scheme work?
The Motability Scheme works by exchanging all, or part of your mobility allowance to lease the vehicle of your choice. In some cases, the vehicle requires an Advance Payment, which is an upfront payment from yourself.
To be eligible and get yourself a brand new BYD on the Motability Scheme you must be in receipt of one of the following, as well as have at least 12 months' award length remaining.
- Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (HRMC DLA)
- Enhanced Rate Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (ERMC PIP)
- War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
- Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
