As we’ve come to expect from the latest generation of Honda vehicles, it’s got a solid approach to build quality as well as loads of standard equipment and an efficient hybrid powertrain.

But if you’re looking to make the CR-V personal to you, what are your options? Here, we’re going to take a look through the options to make the CR-V just how you’d like it.

Specifications to choose from

The best place to start is with the CR-V’s list of specifications, of which there are three to choose from - Elegance, Advance and Advance Tech.

Elegance

Elegance is where the range kicks off, but it’s hardly entry-level in terms of equipment. In fact, you still get heated front seats, a heated steering wheel and full LED lights. Plus, with front and rear parking sensors, it’s a doddle to park.

You’ll also find a power tailgate included in this grade, alongside keyless entry and start.

Advance

Step up to Advance and the list of equipment grows even more comprehensive. One of the key additions here is the multi-view camera which allows you to see a full area around the car when you’re parking.

Plus, adaptive headlights are included as standard. These can intelligently switch the high beam lights on and off, preventing glare to other road users while ensuring that you get the best possible illumination.

Advance Tech

Finally, we have Advance Tech. It’s the one you’ll want if you’re after all of the bells and whistles possible, with highlights such as front cooling seats and an upgraded Bose sound system being among the top features.

Plus, you also get a head-up display and Honda’s clever Parking Pilot which can scan for s space and park the car by itself - you only need to operate the throttle and the brake while the car does the rest.

Personalisation

Once you’ve picked the right specification, it’s time for some personalisation. One of the best ways to make your Brand-New Honda CR-V stand out from the crowd is with the optional ‘Aero Pack’ which gives this SUV a more dynamic appearance courtesy of a front and rear aero bumper, painted tailgate spoiler and contrast silver side skirts.

You’ve also got five great colours to choose from. Premium Crystal Red Metallic looks particularly good to our eyes, though Canyon River Blue Metallic give the CR-V a particularly classy appearance. The other colour options on offer are Platinum White Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl and Diamond Dust Pearl.

You’ve also got three wheel designs to choose from. All versions come with alloys as standard, though you can upgrade these to an 18-inch diamond-cut version instead. One version features a shiny clear coat with jet black inserts, while a second has a full jet-black finish for a more distinctive look.

Interior

The interior of the CR-V is already a smart place to be, with full leather coming as standard alongside all of the technology we’ve mentioned earlier. Even in hybrid versions you’re getting 635 litres of boot space, too, so there’s more than enough room for luggage.

You can also tweak the interior of the CR-V with a cool ‘illumination pack’ which adds an illuminated doorstep and even light-up boot sill decorations which activate when you open the tailgate.
