How it all started for Honda

Honda began its story in 1948 after its founder, Soichiro Honda, saw the need for Japan to become mobile quickly and cheaply after the second world war. By attaching a motor generator to a bicycle, Soichiro created his first ‘Honda’ vehicle. His next challenge was to meet the demand for them.
