Engines

The current lineup includes three engine options: one petrol and one diesel. The 1.5-litre petrol engine, badged as the 35 TFSI, produces 148bhp and can return up to 60mpg. It’s offered with either a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed automatic transmission.

When paired with the automatic gearbox, the petrol engine also features a 48V mild-hybrid system, which helps reduce engine load, enhancing fuel efficiency and lowering emissions.

The diesel option is a 2.0-litre engine, also delivering 148bhp, and achieves an impressive 78mpg in official tests.
