Next the Partner is an attractively styled mid-size van that boasts cost-effective engines and offers a comfortable ride. The Partner is available in two body styles (Panel Van and Crew Van) and three grades (S, Grip Premium, Professional and Asphalt Premium).
Panel Vans options are available in two lengths: 4.38 metres and 4.63 metres, while Crew Vans come in the latter length only. Asymmetric rear doors open 180 degrees, enabling easy access to the cargo bay. Height-adjustable headlights and a third (high-level) brake light are also a feature. Body colours range from Cumulus Grey, Nimbus Grey and Nera Black.
All Panel Van models feature a load space that ranges from 3,300 litres to 3,700 litres, and a payload that starts at 650kg, rising to 800kg. Panel Vans come with a frame protector which is positioned behind the driver’s seat. All models come with six tie-down hooks for securing cargo. A height-adjustable driver’s seat and a rake-and-reach-adjustable steering column are available with all models. Crew Vans feature an individual front passenger seat and a folding second row of three seats, as well as a movable bulkhead
A choice of three 1.6-litre engines (75bhp and 100bhp diesel units and a 98bhp petrol alternative) are available, each paired with five-speed manual transmission. CO2 emissions from diesel engines range from 108g/km to 112g/km. Fuel consumption figures range from 68.9mpg to 65.7mpg. All figures are dependent on the particular van’s dimensions. Crew Vans come with a 100bhp engine option only, which returns 65.7mpg and 113g/km of CO2.
An All-Terrain Vehicle version is available too, offering four drive modes, Anti-Slip Regulation, upgraded tyres and more.
The 8 inch display with touchscreen, with the ability to mirror your phone onto the screen. There is also optional voice control and for added safety TomTom services gives real time traffic updates and danger zones. Electronic Stability Control, Hill-Start Assist, Anti-lock Braking System, Emergency Brake Assist and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution are featured as standard. Whenever you brake suddenly, hazard lights are automatically activated.
