At just 4.3 m long, the Atto 2 is easy to maneuver around town yet surprisingly spacious inside, thanks to BYD’s e-Platform 3.0 and compact Blade Battery packaging, maximizing legroom and headroom for all passengers.

How it Performs

The BYD Atto 2 delivers a confident balance of power and efficiency, making it an ideal compact electric SUV for everyday driving. Its 177 hp (130 kW) motor produces 290 Nm of torque, giving the Atto 2 brisk acceleration from 0–62 mph in just under eight seconds, while top speed is limited to 99 mph for efficiency and safety. Powered by BYD’s advanced 45.1 kWh Blade Battery technology, the Atto 2 offers a WLTP range of up to 194 miles, with future extended-range versions expected to deliver over 260 miles on a single charge. Charging is convenient and flexible, with an 11 kW onboard charger for overnight home charging in around five and a half hours, and 65 kW DC fast charging that replenishes the battery from 10–80% in just 37 minutes.

Its interior combines eco-friendly vegan leather with high-quality trim, and is highlighted by a rotatable 12.8-inch infotainment screen that supports Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, voice control, and offers over-the-air software updates. Comfort is elevated with heated, electronically adjustable seats, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, wireless charging, and generous cargo space—400 L expanding to 1,340 L with the rear seats folded.

BYD Atto 2 Trim Levels

BYD’s trim levels are simple, its widely known that the Chinese manufacturer makes their trim levels easy for people to grasp with them being in alphabetical order - Boost & Comfort. Their Boost model is the most budget friendly, a base car with all the essential features a road user would need in their Atto 2. Going through to Comfort, this trim offers varying enhanced features and adopts a much more premium feel to that of BYD’s Comfort edition.

The ideology from the Chinese firm is that they want to capture their customers and offer a model that can suit differing requirements, budgets and preferences. A feature which their middle of the road variant, Comfort possesses is a panoramic sunroof and heated seats - something that is only included in the Design as well as the afore mentioned, Comfort.

Boost

The Boost trim of the BYD Atto 2 comes well-equipped with a generous range of features designed for comfort, convenience, and connectivity. It includes Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a panoramic roof with an electrically adjustable sunshade, and faux-leather upholstery for a premium feel. Drivers benefit from a 10.1-inch electrically rotatable touchscreen, keyless entry, and 17-inch alloy wheels, while metallic paint adds to its stylish exterior. Practical touches such as Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) output, a rear screen and side mirror defrost shortcut button, and the BYD Intelligent Voice Assistant with continuous dialogue and wake-up free command complete the package.

Comfort

Stepping up to the Comfort trim builds on everything included in the Boost, adding a series of enhanced technology and comfort features.
