New paint options and a bespoke interior are just two of the highlights of a new special edition version of the Range Rover Sport SVR. The Ultimate edition has been designed by Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations team, and gets two paint choices exclusive to the model. They’re called Maya Blue Gloss and Marl Grey Gloss, and have a highly reflective fine white glass flake in the solid base coat that ‘sparkles’.

It has been given a thorough makeover by the SV Bespoke team, with knurled black Range Rover lettering on the tailgate and bonnet, with white edging for the fenders. The cabin boasts black anodised metal gearshift paddles, illuminated treadplates with Ultimate Edition on them, and specially designed B-pillar badges. Although Land Rover recommends the Ebony and Cirrus colour combination, which adds Performance Seats with Windsor leather, buyers can choose differently. Other upgrades include a carbon-fibre bonnet painted the same colour as the bodywork, 22-inch forged alloy wheels and black brake callipers, as well as black contrasting body parts.

Hannah Custance, design manager at SV Colour and Materials, said: “Our SV Bespoke design team is always pushing the boundaries to create stunning vehicle colours with enhanced individuality. “This is the first SV Bespoke edition we’ve offered with beautifully textured and reflective glass flake paint finishes, which puts the Range Rover Sport SVR Ultimate Edition at the forefront of our innovative approach to personalisation.”

All Range Rover SVR models use the firm’s highly regarded 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine, which makes 567bhp and 700Nm of torque. This makes it capable of a 4.3-second 0-60mph sprint and a top speed of 176mph. The Range Rover SVR Ultimate Edition is on sale now, with prices starting at £123,900.
