Introduction
We’re proud to back National Road Safety Week (16th - 22nd November 2025) because safer roads matter to all of us.
Every year here in the UK more than 1,700 people lose their lives on the roads, and another 30,000 suffer serious, life changing injuries. That’s not just statistics, that’s families, friends, communities impacted.

Why the theme matters: “Safe Vehicles, Save Lives”
This year’s campaign theme is ‘Safe Vehicle Save Lives,’ and it hits home for us. Cars have come on leaps and bounds thanks to technology, but even the best features still need proper care, maintenance and common sense behind the wheel.
When we keep our vehicles in good shape, checking those tyres, brakes and other essentials, we’re giving ourselves the best shot at staying safe and we’re doing right by other road users too.
How we’re getting involved
As a family run business with over 30 locations across the North West and Midlands, we believe in keeping our community safe and connected.
A few things we’re doing during Road Safety Week:
- Offering free tyre Safety Checks - To make sure your vehicle is road-ready before winter.
- Reminding Everyone - Drivers, passengers, pedestrians that we each have a role to play.
- Sharing Tips - On how to maintain your vehicle and drive with care and consideration.
As our Accident Repair Centre Manager, Mark Trevers, puts it:
“We see the aftermath of collisions and vehicle damage, but we also want to be part of preventing the crash in the first place. Small things like ensuring your vehicle is road worthy, your tyres and brakes are in good condition and you’re driving with care and consideration can make all the difference.”

Quick checklist you can use today
Here’s a simple checklist you can walk through, either right now or before you next head out:
- Tyres - Are they properly inflated? Is the tread depth OK? Any visible damage?
- Brakes - Are they responsive? Any strange noises or vibrations?
- Lights & Mirrors - All working and correctly aligned? Clear of obstructions?
- Windshield & Windows - Clear, not chipped or cracked in a way that impairs vision.
- Drive Mindfully - Even with a safe car, your awareness and courtesy on the road matter hugely.
- Winter Ready - With darker nights and colder mornings, ensure wipers, de-icer, lights are sorted.
By doing these simple things, you’re helping us live up to the campaign message, safe vehicles do save lives.
Let’s all drive more safely
Whether you’re behind the wheel, in the passenger seat, or commuting to work, each of us can help. A few minutes spent ahead of time checking your vehicle or changing how your drive can make a world of difference. We believe care, community and responsibility go hand in hand. For us, it’s not just about selling cars, it’s about making every journey safer for everyone.
