New Range Rover Ultimate Editions

The ‘pinnacle’ of Land Rover’s luxury SUVs - a pair of high-specification Range Rover models have arrived to top the luxurious SUV’s range of models. 

Crafted by the firm’s Special Vehicle Bespoke team, the Ultimate Editions build on existing top-spec SVAutobiography and SVAutobiography Dynamic models, adding more in the way of features and personalisation options. 

The long-wheelbase SV Autobiography, for instance, features airline-style rear seats that are both heated and cooled. They’ve got a massage function, too. Other features include a full-length centre console, fridge and fold-down tables. 

Ultimate versions also boast a Vintage Tan leather interior with copper carbon-fibre accents, while there’s also the option to upgrade this to high-quality upholstery from Italian firm Poltrana Frau. In terms of powertrain, the Ultimate can be specified with either a 557bhp supercharged V8 engine or a more efficient plug-in hybrid setup.

The SVAutobiography Dynamic Ultimate is the more driver-focused of the pair thanks to its shorter wheelbase and more agility-focused suspension setup. It’s also exclusively available with the supercharged V8 engine. 

It also features 22-inch alloy wheels, a tan and black leather interior with diamond quilting and carbon-fibre trim 

Prices for the SVAutobiography Ultimate with the V8 start at £183,706, while the equivalent Dynamic Ultimate starts at £147,441.
