I'd definitely recommend a Skoda Citigo 1.0 MPi Colour Edition 5dr because they’re a great small car for younger drivers who have recently passed their test. The simplistic cabin means fewer distractions when driving. As a really compact car it is easy to drive in built up areas and very simple to park! Fuel efficient so cheap to run as well.
