About This BYD Seal U
BYD Crewe are delighted to present this approved used Seal U DM-i Boost, finished in the elegant Time Grey. Powered by BYD’s innovative Super DM dual-mode technology, this plug-in hybrid has been engineered to deliver excellent efficiency alongside smooth, quiet operation and premium features.
With up to 50 miles of electric-only range and a combined driving range of up to 671 miles, the Seal U DM-i is well suited to everyday commuting as well as longer journeys. Charging is straightforward and efficient, with a full AC charge taking around 120 minutes, or DC rapid charging replenishing the battery from 10 to 80 per cent in approximately 35 minutes. An 11kW on-board charger and Vehicle-to-Load functionality add further versatility, allowing compatible electrical devices to be powered when required.
From the outside, the Seal U DM-i presents a clean and contemporary look, enhanced by full LED lighting and distinctive welcome illumination. A panoramic glass sunroof with an electrically operated sunshade allows natural light to flow through the cabin, while 19-inch bi-colour alloy wheels, aluminium roof rails and an electric tailgate contribute to both style and everyday practicality. The spacious boot includes a parcel shelf and 60:40 split-folding rear seats, providing flexibility.
Inside, the cabin offers a calm and modern environment. Rear passengers benefit from privacy glass, ambient lighting, rear air vents and USB-C charging points. The front seats are finished in vegan leather and feature electric adjustment, along with heating and ventilation for added comfort. Dual-zone climate control helps maintain a comfortable cabin temperature, while the centrally mounted 15.6-inch electric rotating touchscreen provides clear access to media,360 3D car image, navigation and vehicle settings.
