OMODA&JAECOO UK has launched its own EV Tax Rebate for the new all-electric OMODA E5 and JAECOO E5, giving drivers a benefit equivalent to 20,000 miles at 3p per mile.
Introduced in response to the UK Budget’s plan to introduce a 3p-per-mile charge on pure electric vehicles (EVs) from 2028–2029, the rebate provides a manufacturer-funded saving on eligible vehicles purchased through the brand’s national retailer network using approved finance products.
Although the tax will not take effect for another three years, customers can take advantage of this saving immediately when buying through OMODA&JAECOO’s nationwide retailers with an approved 48-month finance agreement**. This ensures the rebate’s value remains meaningful across the full four-year term, effectively offsetting part of the future tax cost throughout the duration of the agreement.
