Potentially the most popular all-electric car manufacturer out there right now, Chinese brand BYD have been going from strength to strength in the UK market since releasing the Atto 3 back in March 2023. Boating terrific sales of various models, BYD has seen a rapid rise through the automotive world and it is firmly staking its claim as one of the leading firm’s in the industry. The popularity started a couple of years ago now but the amount of car users jumping to BYD is fascinating and there’s good reason for it due to their ambition to make innovative cars while giving back to the environment. Each BYD car is packed with a variety of exciting features that don’t just enhance the car, but your driving experience too.
With there being five trim levels in all, the Comfort trim sits firmly in the middle as a mid-tier trim. Sat either side of Boost and Design, the Comfort trim offers many exciting features, with a slight hint of prestige. One of the many reasons BYD are clawing their way to popularity is down to their execution of how they layout trim levels of models. Using a clever alphabetical system, the levels go up by letters, all the way from Active, Boost, Comfort, Design and Excellence - with Active the entry-level trim, and the latter the brand’s highest trim level.
Like with many cars, the higher the trim, the more features you’ll get that don’t come as standard. In terms of infotainment and safety systems, the Comfort trim offers more than the Active and Boost will, for instance.
