What makes BYD special?

BYD have been setting the automotive world alight since their entrance into the UK market in 2023 and their rise isn’t slowing down! Making their name as an innovative, all-electric vehicle and battery manufacturer, the Chinese firm have gathered pace at an incredible rate. After the release of their first car in the UK (BYD Atto 3), the company’s sales have gone through the roof and many car users are turning to the brand day after day. BYD Boost Trim Level

BYD strive to deliver innovation and excellence in everything they do and there’s an excellent way that they layout their trim levels, too. BYD (Build Your Dreams) use letters to list their trim levels, making it easy for customers to understand. Active is the first, BYD’s entry-level trim, followed by Boost, Comfort and Design - with Excellence sitting as the brand’s top-tier trim.

As there is no Active trim for the Seal U DM-i, the Boost trim is the most affordable entry point into the Seal U PHEV lineup. Offering sustainable EV driving capability (around 50 miles), this model is ideal for daily commutes. It also comes with nearly all the tech found in BYD’s Comfort version of this car.
