What is the Multivan?

The Multivan is a new addition to the Volkswagen Commercial range and acts as a replacement for the Caravelle. It’s based on the same platform as the Golf which means that it’s got a far more car-focused driving experience and a practical, spacious interior.

It’s got a really cool exterior design, too, with more than a hint of the classic Volkswagen bus to it. It’s available in regular and long lengths, too, and is even available as an efficient plug-in hybrid.

What’s the smallest Volkswagen Van?

The Caddy is the most compact van that Volkswagen offers, but it’s big on practicality despite a relatively compact exterior. Available as a traditional panel van as well as a more focused MPV version, the Caddy has a multitude of uses and has a good, efficient range of engines to choose from.

You could also opt for the new Caddy California, which packs a range of adventure-focused features into it. There’s even a fold-out bed!

Need more space? That’s where the Crafter comes into play. It’s the largest van offered by Volkswagen, bringing a huge amount of capability courtesy of a high roof height and a long chassis. Plus, clever packaging means that there’s minimal intrusion from the wheels into the load area, while all manner of racking and boarding systems can be fitted too.

Available with a series of efficient engines, the Crafter is also very easy to drive and reasonably frugal, too.
