Everything We Know About the 0 Series
Set for a global launch in Summer 2026, the first two models include the 0 Saloon and 0 SUV, designed to arrive in Europe and the UK shortly after debuting in North America.
So, let’s meet the line up…

0 Saloon
Honda’s flagship electric sedan features sleek styling inspired by the original CES concept.
It’s designed with the ‘Thin, Light and Wise’ philosophy, slimmer battery packs, lighter overall chassis (up to 100kg less), more aerodynamic body, all contributing to excellent efficiency and sporty handling.
It promises over 300 miles of range, powered via an 80-90 kWh battery (possibly up to 100 kWh at top trims), with entry level models offering around 241bhp and dual‑motor variants up to 480bhp.

0 SUV
Based on the bold Space Hub concept, this mid-size SUV delivers spacious interior volume, excellent visibility and flexible cabin space for modern lifestyles.
The Independent
It’s actually expected to be the first production model released in 2026, targeting North America first and then Europe, UK and Japan.
Powered by ASIMO OS - Your Car Becomes Smarter Over Time
At the heart of every 0 Series model is Honda’s new proprietary operating system, named after its iconic humanoid robot, ASIMO OS. This intelligent software integrates automated driving, advanced driver assistance systems, infotainment, personalisation features and vehicle dynamics into a single, evolving platform.
Over-the-air (OTA) updates allow your car to evolve, adapting to your driving habits, mood, and comfort preferences over its lifetime.
Level 3 automated driving is on the cards meaning ‘eyes-off’ capability in certain scenarios like motorway congestion, freeing you to relax, watch something or join a call safely while on the move.

Why That ‘Thin, Light & Wise’ Tagline Matters
Thin - Clever engineering reduces battery and component thickness, keeping the cabin spacious while lowering the centre of gravity.
Light- Shedding around 100kg compared to similar sized EVs means sharper balance, better efficiency and responsive ride feel.
Wise- From self‑learning software to AI predictive safety, these cars think ahead in subtle ways to enhance comfort and control.
Honda’s robotics background shines through with features like 3D gyro sensors for advanced stabilisation, technology pioneered with ASIMO that's now embedded in the driving experience.

Honda’s Electrification Ambitions
Honda aims to roll out seven EV models by 2030 under the 0 Series umbrella and achieve full electrification, battery or fuel cell vehicles by around 2040, aiming for 40% of its sales to be EVs by the end of this decade.
With the EV landscape moving fast, many manufacturers are reassessing earlier plans, but Honda appears committed and confident in its software defined EV strategy, even if other brands are pulling back.
Why This Matters
These models mark a fresh start for Honda in the EV market and a new reason to get excited. With intelligent driving features that grow smarter over time, lighter platforms for everyday efficiency and drama free performance, the 0 Series represents a genuine rethink of electric mobility.
When these models are available to pre‑register or book, our Swansway Honda dealerships will be here to guide you through trim options, pricing, charging choices and what Level 3 autonomy means in practice.
