• Ongoing investment strengthens facilities at Nantwich Town Football Club

• Key partner Swansway Motor Group refreshes stadium signage

• Supporting grassroots football and community sport in Nantwich, Cheshire

Family owned motor retailer Swansway Motor Group has refreshed its stadium signage at The Swansway Stadium, continuing its long standing support of Nantwich Town Football Club and the wider local community.

Nantwich Town Football Club has recently invested into its facilities, including the installation of a new 3G all weather pitch, allowing the ground to be used throughout the year.

The club have also invested in new LED floodlights, which has subsequently improved visibility while reducing energy use.

The Dabbers, a reference to the town’s textiles and saltworks industries, are currently raising funds to support the next phase of facility improvements. This will see the rear supplementary 3G training pitch upgraded to meet the FA’s pitch guidelines. This will enable up to 70 youth teams to play accredited league matches each week.

The updated branding can now be seen throughout the ground, including within the disability stand, where new signage highlights the Motability Scheme and the accessibility support available to visitors.

“The updated stadium signage is another small step in making sure the ground continues to feel welcoming and well maintained for our visitors.”

The refresh forms part of ongoing improvements at the ground, helping ensure supporters, players and the wider community can enjoy a welcoming environment year round.

David Smyth, director at Swansway Motor Group, said:

David added:

“We’re pleased to play a small part in helping the club continue improving the facilities for the local community.”
