Open for Order

CUPRA’s new Tribe Editions on the brand’s Formentor and Terramar are now open for order, with deliveries expected to commence later this month. Prices start from £39,240 on the Formentor, and £42,190 on CUPRA’s Terramar, both models are now ready to be driven away!

Unveiled back in September 2025 in Munich at the IAA Motability Event, CUPRA have only introduced the Tribe Editions on the Formentor and Terramar in the UK.

Defining “Tribe Edition”

Before we dive into the Tribe Editions, let’s answer a foundational question: What is CUPRA?

Simply put, Tribe Editions are limited-run, special variants of select CUPRA models that bring a unique mix of features, styling enhancements, and exclusively to the lineup. These Editions are tailored to appeal to fans who want something more distinctive than the standard models, a car that feels personalised, rare, and culturally connected.

The term “Tribe” emphasises community and identity, reflecting the idea that owners are part of a passionate group with shared values in performance, design, and authenticity.

Specifications of the CUPRA Tribe Editions

Introducing a new Manganese Matt exterior colour, in addition to unique interior design concepts such as 3D knitting technology for the bucket seats, bio-based paint for certain elements such as air vents and dashboard, and now alloy wheels incorporating 20 per cent recycled material. Prices and Engines on CUPRA’s Tribe Editions

On the road (OTR) prices for the Formentor start at £39,240 and £43,255 on the Terramar Tribe Edition. Both Tribe Edition models come with a choice of three different powertrains:

Petrol
Mild hybrid
Plug-in hybrid

Exterior Designs

The exterior designs of the new Tribe Editions are elevated by a striking colour palette in Midnight Black which comes included as standard, and the new Manganese Matt - a £1,105 option (available for all Tribe Editions models). Dark chrome CUPRA logos at the front and rear, along with rear lettering, enrich each vehicle’s look and adds depth to their character. Built from the V2 trims, the Tribe Editions include all the V2 specification as standard, plus the new equipment described below. New alloy wheel designs with a new Black and Sulphur Green colour set the Tribe Editions apart from the rest. A unique 19-inch design for the Formentor and 20-inch for the Terramar.

In the cabin, as standard, CUPRA’s Tribe Editions include 3D knitted seats and our high-fidelity 12-speaker audio sound system developed in collaboration with the audio experts of Sennheiser Mobility. The system delivers the pure signature Sennheiser sound that is trusted by music creatives and artists from all over the world.

All Tribe Editions Terramar and Formentor orders will also receive our exclusive accessories pack - containing a boot protecting luggage tray, cleaning kit with two-in-one screen cleaner and a CUPRA stainless steel Thermo mug. All will be automatically ordered and delivered directly to Retailers with every customer order placed to enhance the customer feeling of being part of the CUPRA tribe. CUPRA has always pushed to incorporate innovation and sustainability into its vehicles, and the Tribe Editions extend this into a new era.

Combined with recycled materials used in the vehicles’ bumpers - the spoiler front bumper contains 20 per cent recycled plastic material, which represents a more balanced approach to mobility.

Production and Launch Cars

Production of the new Tribe Editions will begin later this month and launch vehicles have been certainly ordered. We anticipate these vehicles will arrive in January with customer open-for-order planned for Tuesday 6th January. All launch cars have been ordered centrally by CUPRA UK. You will be allocated two vehicles:
