Audi has given its Sportback treatment to yet another car in its range - the SQ5. The all-new Audi SQ5 Sportback has been re-engineered for power and performance. With its advanced design and technology, the SQ5 Sportback is the perfect combination of style and power. Featuring a powerful 3 litre diesel V6 engine, the SQ5 Sportback delivers a maximum output of 341 PS and 700 Nm of torque. The advanced Quattro all-wheel drive system provides superior handling, while the aerodynamic design gives the SQ5 Sportback a sleek and sporty look.
Exterior
It’s on the outside where you’ll notice the most amount of difference between the SQ5 SUV and the new Sportback model. It’s far sleeker in design than the conventional SUV, bringing a raked roofline which ties it together with other Sportback models in the range.
Of course, this does mean that headroom inside is slightly impeded, but it’s not as badly affected as you might think given the sharply tapered roofline. The Sportback shape represents a new take on the Q5 formula, and it’s a well executed one to say the least.
Interior
The interior of the SQ5 Sportback is designed for ultimate driving comfort. The 12-way adjustable front seats provide custom comfort, while the sporty leather-wrapped steering wheel and aluminum shift paddles give you total control of the car.
The Audi virtual cockpit provides detailed information about your driving performance, while the MMI navigation system provides turn-by-turn directions to your destination. With its luxurious yet sporty interior, the SQ5 Sportback offers an unparalleled driving experience.
However, practicality hasn’t been forgotten about either. Despite the sloping roof, there’s 510 litres of boot space to play with, and this can be increased to 1,480 litres by folding down the rear seats. In addition, tip-top Vorsprung models get a sliding rear bench which allows you to boost the standard boot space by 60 litres by pushing the seats as far forward as possible.
