Thanks to its sleek, curved lines the A4 Avant has a classic saloon look. A definitive Audi, the A4 Avant has a softly rounded bonnet that leads down to the angular headlights and impressive grille below.
If you opt for the Sport or S line trim levels, the grille is a striking Twilight Grey with chrome inlays. For a sophisticated finish, the SE and the Sport trim levels have Xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights, while the S line has sharper LED headlights. For added practicality, comfort and ease there are aluminium roof rails, heat-insulating window glass and heated door mirrors.
Interior design
Open the door of the A4 Avant and you will find a cockpit-style interior that is built for driver convenience. All trim levels come with three-zone climate control, a front centre armrest and a Sport multifunction steering wheel. In the centre of the dashboard sits an MMI screen with an Audi Smartphone Interface system. Designed much like a tablet, this user-friendly device allows you to easily use your phone and control the satellite navigation while on the move.
Performance
Up to 120kg lighter than its previous generation models, the A4 Avant is more nimble and agile on the road than ever before. There are 11 engine choices in the range, starting from the 1.4-litre TFSI up to the 3.0-litre V6 TDI quattro. All petrol engines come with Turbo Fuel Stratified Injection technology and the diesel variants have Turbocharged Direct Injection systems, which are proven to increase fuel-efficiency. As the most powerful in the line-up, the 3.0-litre V6 TDI quattro goes from 0-60mph in approximately five seconds and reaches a top speed of 155mph. For fuel-efficiency, the petrol 2.0-litre ultra-diesel engines are unrivalled by others in the collection, delivering as much as 74.3mpg.
Technology & Safety
No matter which trim level you choose, you can enjoy the convenience of parking sensors, cruise control with freewheeling capability and keyless start. To keep you and your passengers safe on the road, the A4 Avant has Electronic Stabilisation Control and multi-collision brake assist to help you stop quickly but still maintain control. It also has a pre sense city system that scans up to 100m in front of the car when travelling at 50mph and warns you of any potential hazards.
