Tested by nature, the Fiat Panda Cross is a compact SUV that is Fiat’s most adventure-ready vehicle. The stylish city car is spacious and fully equipped for any terrain.
The distinctive profile boasts a rugged look, with chunky black bumpers and a quirky high-shine silver skid plate to convey this model’s off-road personality. You’re just itching to splatter that shiny chrome with mud and there are lots of bright body colours to choose from. Raised ride height versus a standard Panda and high-mounted front fog lights help reinforce how comfortable it is wading through deep and muddy puddles.
The Panda Cross doesn’t shy away from style, though, with darkened 15-inch alloy wheels, a chrome-plated tailpipe and embossed protective side mouldings.
Do not underestimate the size of this city car. With 225-litres of boot space and optional Cargo Box, this model can take you and your luggage on any adventure. Spacious and stylish, the metallic copper-coloured dashboard is set off against the satin titanium central console; it feels premium whilst remaining faithful to the SUV’s off-road spirit. Rustic materials combining eco-leather and textured fabric cover the curved seats, from where you can enjoy an elevated view of the road.
This model builds on the performance of the Panda 4x4 to include off-road capabilities that combine technological brain with mechanical brawn. Two different engine versions in petrol and diesel come with Start&Stop technology as standard to reduce fuel consumption.
Efficient and powerful, the torque is higher on the diesel engines, reaching 200Nm at 1500rpm for the 1.3 MultiJet 95bhp. The 90bhp 0.9-litre TwinAir Turbo Petrol engine is equipped with a specific six-speed gearbox with shortened first gear to start uphill with ease. The All-Terrain Selector specialises handling performance and includes a Hill Descent Control mode to keep you in control on any terrain.
The Blue&Me™ multimedia system is effortless with steering wheel controls and Bluetooth® connectivity. To add ease to city life, the Fiat Panda Cross is armed with optional rear parking sensors and City Break Control. From busy streets to empty tracks, the plentiful ground clearance of 16cm makes any obstacle conquerable and the Mud+Snow tyres provide excellent grip in any conditions. Fiat doesn’t let adventure impinge on safety with AntiWhiplash headrests, wider tyres for enhanced grip and Electronic Locking Differential.
