Isofix mounting points ensure that a child seat is mounted into a vehicle as safely as possible. By locking a seat into the Isofix points either side of the passenger seats, it essentially makes the car seat a part of the vehicle’s chassis, ensure it’s as strong as possible.
And though many cars offer two Isofix mounting points, few have three separate points available. That’s not to say there aren’t any cars with three Isofix points – and we’ve picked out some of the best that do.
PEUGEOT 3008
The 3008 is efficient and pleasantly different in terms of styling, both inside and out.

It offers the same futuristic styling as the rest of the ID range but brings a more family-focused interior layout. The ID.4 has ISOFIX points in the front passenger seat and the two outer rear seats.
Audi Q7
Drivers want versatility, comfort and luxury and it’s exactly what you get when you drive in the new Audi; which is why it’s just so appealing! The Q7 is the largest in the Audi SUV range and boasts 7 seats if you need extra space for the family.
It is an extremely comfortable, luxurious and practical family SUV with six ISOFIX points.
Volkswagen Touran
The Volkswagen Touran is an MPV with a surprising amount of space to offer. As well as seven seats, it’s got a big boot and excellent all-around visibility. The overall build quality is good, and all of the controls have a decent, weighty finish to them.
Three Isofix points? Check. It’s also got a suite of airbags and driver aids to help it stay as safe as possible, too.
Land Rover Discovery
With over 2.000 litres of space behind the first row, 926 litres of space behind the second row and independent folding of both rows, you can configure the capacious interior to suit your preferences. The Discovery also has five ISOFIX points within the vehicle.
