The New Crafter features 'ergoComfort' suspension seating, clever storage options and a range of optional extras to turn the cabin into the most comfortable work place - perfect for drivers who spend plenty of time on the roads. An optional extra would be back care, available with a 20-way seat adjustment, all with the ability to fully adjust your seat to your ideal, supportive position either manually or electrically, but if you'd like to really ensure a comfortable drive, you can also add the option of heating and massage functions to your seat too. The New Crafter comes with plenty of storage space to house all of your equipment for your working day. Smartphones, laptops, tablets and drinks bottles or cups all have their own designated area at hand close to the driver. A true home from home!

Featuring wide sliding doors that open up to 1,311 mmand up to 2,196 of high load compartment height (which can also be lowered by 100mm) the New Crafter is specifically designed with space for shelving systems and an optional universal floor to offer even more convenience. There's a choice of sizes available including three lengths and three heights to make your Volkswagen completely tailored to you. There's also a number of payloads available to make the very most of your business requirements as well as up to 14 lashing rings recessed into the floor, lashing rails on all walls and the roof too, all to ensure that your loads are kept firmly secure during your journey.

Standard on New Crafter panel van models, it triggers braking after a collision, with the aim of preventing secondary collisions. Your safety is vital, so we ensure that a long list of safety and security features are built into every vehicle we produce.
The New Crafters' Park Assist function works as a second pair of eyes and makes squeezing into tight positions an easy process. Electromechanical Servotronic steering comes as standard as well as Front Assist and City Emergency Braking - both state-of-the-art driver assistance systems to help closely monitor your driving distance from surrounding traffic, and tools which signal alerts when you're getting too close to them. The New Crafter also features an Automatic Post-Collision Braking System which instantly triggers the brakes after a collision, helping to prevent a second impact.

The New Crafter is the only Commercial Vehicle vehicle in its class available with an 8-speed automatic transmission as well as 3 drive systems: front-wheel, rear-wheel and 4MOTION all-wheel drive which allow you to make the very most of your journey in the most efficient of ways.
Its TDI engines available are specifically for commercial vehicles - designed to have a long service life and meet all performance requirements even with a high mileage. As well as this, there's also the option of choosing a 8-speed automatic gearbox, available with all three drive systems.
