Your Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) is engineered to give you seamless gear changes. In order to do this efficiently and effectively, it needs regular oil changes at the recommended intervals.
During a DSG oil change, we'll check for leaks, drain the oil, replace the oil filter (if required) and refill with gearbox oil to the Approved Standards.
The oil in the gearbox can become dirty which can cause the gearbox to overheat or makes the clutch burn out. This will lead to loss of performance in the gearbox, loss of power and possible gearbox failure.
We recommend you look in your vehicle handbook as this will tell you when the DSG oil will need to be changed. The DSG oil change can be different for models, age and current mileage.
