Your Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) is engineered to give you seamless gear changes. In order to do this efficiently and effectively, it needs regular oil changes at the recommended intervals.

During a DSG oil change, we'll check for leaks, drain the oil, replace the oil filter (if required) and refill with gearbox oil to the Approved Standards.

Why do I need a DSG Oil change?

Dirty oil can cause the gearbox to overheat or makes the clutch burn out.

How often do I need to change my DSG Oil ?

It is recommended that your DSG gearbox oil should be replaced to ensure your vehicle still performs at its best.

How do I know if my DSG needs changing ?

There are a few things to look out for that may indicate you need to check your DSG:

• The transmission jerking between shifts
• Clunking sound when changing gear
• Irregular lag when starting the car
• Flashing engine management warning light on the dashboard
• A slight burning smell
• Clutch slip or banging when engaged
