Exterior Design
Bringing something different to the road, the PEUGEOT 408 proudly shows off a striking shape characterised by its dynamic Fastback stance.
With its ground clearance raised but height contained, its sporty design and fluid lines emphasise its aerodynamic qualities. This new PEUGEOT also showcases the Full LED lights which illuminate claw by claw.
Technology
The Brand New PEUGEOT 408 includes the latest-generation PEUGEOT i-Cockpit® with compact steering wheel with steering wheel-mounted controls, 3D instrument unit with 10” digital display and 10” HD central touch-screen offers high-quality ergonomics and technology. This modern car doesn’t lack comfort, thanks to its full suite of driver assistance systems such as Night Visions, parking assist, blind spot monitoring and emergency braking.
Performance
All engines of the new 408 are eight-speed automatic gearboxes, meaning a 1.2 petrol will accelerate from 0-62mph in around 10 seconds. Plug-In hybrid variants may see an even quicker sprint time or around 8.5 seconds thanks to the electric assistance.

New 408 Plug-In Hybrid
This exiting New model will be available with a plug-in hybrid powertrain from launch in early 2023.
There are two plug-in powertrains available; 178bhp Hybrid 180 and 222bhp Hybrid 225.
In terms of range the New 408, is expected to achieve around 37 - 39 miles.
There is also confirmation that a fully electric version of this vehicle, likely called the e-408 will also be launched in 2023.
