Impressive Range and Charging Capabilities

The Brand New VW ID.7 Tourer has an expected pure electric range of up to 374 miles. This additional range has been achieved through incredible efficiency, thanks to the sleek design and drag reduction. Very few manufacturers have launched electric estate cars, probably due to the additional drag created with a larger, more boxy boot opening, but Volkswagen have managed to take on the challenge and excel.

The level of range ensures that the ID.7 Tourer is ready for almost anything, making it an environmentally friendly way to enjoy your daily commute and longer road-trips.

Charging has also been well thought out, the ID.7 Tourer is equipped with DC fast charging, resulting in a capacity of up to 175 kW, charging from 5 to 80% in just 28 minutes.

Volkswagen ID.7 Tourer Glass Roof

Stunning Smart Glass Sunroof

One of the most eye-catching and talked about features of the ID.7 Tourer is the brand-new Smart Glass Panoramic Glass Sunroof. Adding additional light to the interior and looking visually stunning from the exterior, this new way of including the luxurious glass roof has consistently turned heads.

The Smart Glass covers almost the entirety of the cars roof, it can be conveniently controlled with a swipe over function button in the headliner, or by voice control. The real stand-out feature is the ability to switch the roof between the fully transparent and more private opaque mode. The light transmission is controlled via electrochromic voltage.

Luxurious Interior

Volkswagen have pulled out all the stops when designing the interior of the brand-new ID.7 Tourer. The front seats are a new design for Volkswagen and look striking with the suede finish and ID logo embossing. The seats also include the luxurious massage function, this is controlled by the inflation and deflation of air pockets inside the seat cushions. This premium feature increases relaxation and comfort levels inside the new Tourer.

The interior can also be customized to your personal preferences thanks to the interior mood lighting. 30 colours can be selected from, transforming the dash panel, door trim, mobile phone holder and decorative trims to suit your personality.

Technology has not been overlooked with the design and creation of the ID.7 Tourer. The augmented reality heads-up display combines digital with reality by displaying important information directly on the windscreen. This allows the driver to view the current speed, speed limit, remaining charge, and simplified navigation instructions without taking eyes off the road ahead.

The user experience has also been updated thanks to the all-new intuitive operating concept. There is a large 15 inch touchscreen which displays the most important features conveniently. The digital cockpit display is convenient and fuss-free making a statement behind the steering wheel. Other features, such as the intelligent air vents and updated voice control show the advances with technology inside the ID.7 Tourer.

The ID.7 Tourer GTX features a dual-motor all-wheel drive system, this combines the spaciousness of a large estate, with the performance of a sports car all in a fully electric package. The design features a distinctive bumper with honeycomb grille and GTX-specific light graphics. Stylish 20” Skagen alloy wheels have been fitted as standard and the interior has individualised seats (heated in the front) with perforated GTX lettering in the backrests and red piping throughout.
