Recognising that the cost-of-living crisis is having a big impact on many people, Swansway has been working to support its charity partners. With the crisis hitting people and organisations alike, charities are seeing that support from the public is starting to slow down as everyone tightens their purse strings.

Swansway’s latest campaign follows in the footsteps of their well-received Spring Charity Patrol, where they have reached out to their charity partners to ask what items they are most in need of at the moment, donations have ranged from hygiene essentials, toys and wellbeing journals.

Working closely with The Wish Centre [Blackburn], Endeavour, Fortalice, BACKUP North West [Bolton], Cumbria Family Support [Carlisle] Kidsbank Chester, The Wishing Well [Crewe], Staffordshire Women’s Aid and The Gingerbread Centre [Stoke], Swansway has donated items that the charities are most in need of.

Speaking to Angela Gray, Partnership and Funding Director at Endeavour she commented;

“We are delighted with this very generous donation from the wonderful people at Swansway. The continued support they provide means we are able to provide the extras when families are struggling to make ends meet often in temporary accommodation, these items help to provide some extra warmth and comfort. Swansway helps us to ensure that #noonegetsleftbehind and we can't thank them enough.”

Charlotte Almond, Strategy and Business Development Manager at Staffordshire Women’s Aid added;
“We would like to thank David and his team for this very kind donation. Every donation to our Refuge helps ensure that we are here 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to support women and children fleeing domestic violence in Staffordshire.”
