PEUGEOT has been quickly expanding its line-up of electric vehicles, taking advantage of some clever technology that helps to deliver a really good electric range but in a compact and usable package.

It means that now, there’s a great variety of electric PEUGEOT models to choose from. Let’s check them out.

PEUGEOT e-208

The e-208 feels like the car that kicked off PEUGEOT’s new generation of electric vehicles. Sitting alongside the regular petrol 208, the e-208 feels like it’s a perfect match of great looks, useful technology and great efficiency. PEUGEOT claims that it’ll manage up to 225 miles between trips to the plug, too, which means that it’s a great option for long distances too.

Plus, it comes with PEUGEOT’s clever i-Cockpit setup which puts all of the car’s key information right in front of the driver in one clear and easy-to-view design.

There’s loads of equipment included as standard on the e-208, too, with air conditioning, power folding door mirrors, rear parking sensors and automatic lights and wipers all featuring from the off in the e-208.

The crossover segment is one which has seen a real burst of interest in recent years, so it was only a matter of time until PEUGEOT created their own electric version. Cue the e-2008, which uses the same basic underpinnings as the e-208 but adds a slightly more practical, upright bodystyle.

Capable of 214 miles from a charge, the e-2008 has many of those now-trademark PEUGEOT features including the ‘claw’ LED running lights and the large front grille.

All versions get a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system as standard, while a 3D digital driver’s display is where you’ll see all of the key information surrounding the electric powertrains status, such as range or power usage.

PEUGEOT e-Rifter

Need a bit of extra space for your next adventure? That’s where the e-Rifter comes in. As well as 172 miles of electric range, the e-Rifter has boatloads of space for all of the family as well as the option of seven seats for drivers who really need extra people space.

There are two lengths to choose from - standard and long - while clever modularity options mean that the seats can easily be folded away or even removed entirely to free up loads of boot space.

The e-Rifter also benefits from a futuristic-looking 10-inch high-definition instrument panel - a first for the segment. Here, you get all of your key driving information, though it can be adjusted to cycle through different menus, or can even include navigation readouts and instructions instead.

Finishing off the electric line-up from Peugeot is the e-Traveller. There for those buyers who want to take multiple passengers in great levels of comfort, the e-Traveller and its 148-mile range has acres of space and a smart-looking exterior design.

Like the e-Rifter it can be specified in two load lengths, while thanks to removable second and third-row seats, it can offer a massive 4,554 litres of load space - so it’ll play the everyday workhorse role too.

Inside, the e-Traveller has a cabin which has loads of equipment, with all models benefitting from a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment display which houses all key media and navigation functions. Plus, the gauges and dials ahead of the driver clearly relay crucial information relating to the electric powertrain.
