John’s appointment marks an exciting new chapter for Motor Match Stockport, as the brand furthers its standing in the used car industry.

Following a career in the Armed Forces, John spent ten years working with brands across the Volkswagen Group, including Audi and SEAT. This experience allowed John to develop an extensive knowledge of multiple brands, an attribute which will serve him well as Motor Match.

John saw the move to Motor Match Stockport as an exciting career opportunity at a growing brand with plenty of potential for growth, while also admiring Swansway’s own reputation as a forward-thinking family business.

Swansway are also set to benefit, having acquired an individual who tackles problems head on. John has already set clear targets for Motor Match Stockport, with the aim of inspiring the team to meet these goals.

These goals can only be achieved by laying solid foundations, John tells us:

“There is so much potential here, now it is time to maximise that potential. Our word is our bond at Motor Match Stockport, and we will ensure we hit the high standards we set ourselves, maximising customer experiences.”

Reflecting on his first weeks in the role, John remarked:

“It’s been really enjoyable, we’re still growing and there is work to do, but we’re moving in the right direction with serious speed and I’m excited to see what we can achieve here.”
