Jaguar has dropped the manual version of the F-Type, offering motorists an eight-speed automatic transmission instead. Both the P300 and P450 versions of the vehicle come with rear-wheel-drive as standard, though you can upgrade to all-wheel-drive on the latter for a small £5,000 premium. The V8 isn’t the only engine option for the F-Type. You can go for a four-cylinder 2.0-litre turbo instead which offers a still-impressive 296 bhp. However, the new V8, capable of generating 444 bhp, is fast becoming the more popular of the two.
