Electric and Hybrid Cars on the Motability Scheme

Browse the currently selection of vehicles that are electric/hybrids

Did you know, Motability customers who place an order for a 100% electric vehicle can have a charge point installed at their home, completely free! This is all part of the Motability worry-free motoring package. There are no costs to supply and install the home charging point, but if there is work required to gain access to your electricity supply, then you will need to cover these costs. Once installed, you then need to pay for the electricity used to charge your car and that’s it, simple.

Motability work with a number of approved EV charging installers. If you’d prefer to use an alternative supplier, you will need to arrange this yourself and it will be at your own cost.

If you are unable to fit a home charging point for your EV, for example if you don’t have access to off-street parking, you will be able to access a network of charging points for easy on-street charging instead.

So how do you redeem your free home charging point? During your application, your dealer will ask you if you would like to take advantage of the charging solution. All you need to reply with is yes and your dealer will pass on your request to a Motability approved installer.
