The CUPRA Leon Estate

Unleash the power.

Exterior

The CUPRA Leon Estate was designed and developed in Barcelona. Evident as a performance car, it is CUPRA's only performance estate.

The CUPRA logo sits boldly on the front grille with a large front splitter and larger air intakes highlighting its more assertive look. The side skirts add dynamism and visually lower the vehicle. At the front you will find a dark chrome grille frame, front wings and exterior side mirrors that contrast with the chosen body colour, to create an appearance that expresses the eagerness and boldness of the new CUPRA Leon Estate.

The stand out looks are further enhanced by 19 inch alloy wheels that are available in 3 different finishes, and house the copper-coloured Brembo brakes. As standard, the CUPRA Leon Estate features 18 inch alloy wheels. At the rear, you will find a diffuser, spoiler and four exhausts that further define the CUPRA Leon Estate as a performance car, not to be underestimated. Drama is also added with the rear coast-to-coast lighting and full LED front and rear lamps.

Technology

Stay connected to the CUPRA Leon Estate with CUPRA advanced technology. The Digital Cockpit can be customised to the driver’s needs; in addition to the regular views, CUPRA has developed a bespoke ‘Sport’ view for CUPRA Leon Estate, putting information including RPM counter, current power and torque delivery, turbo pressure and longitudinal and lateral G-force accelerometer.

The 10 inch infotainment touchscreen incorporates Retina display and offers 3D online navigation, as well as integrating voice and gesture control. The system also combines SEAT’s Full Link system making it compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto via USB connection or via Bluetooth. You can also control your smartphone device using the voice recognition system inside the CUPRA Leon Estate.

Interior

The CUPRA Leon Estate features puddle light technology that projects a CUPRA logo down on to the floor. Once inside, the cabin further expresses the spirit of the brand with sporty bucket seats as standard, copper and dark chrome detailings and a CUPRA steering wheel which houses the engine start and driver mode selection button as well as an interactive digital driver display.

There are two variations of the sporty bucket seats available, "Sharp Code CUPRA Tech" that offers a textile finish with PVC lateral coverings, or "Genuine CUPRA Timeless" that adds a black leather or Petrol Blue textile. The centre console plays host to a 10 inch infotainment touchscreen that reduces button count and opens up a world of CUPRA advanced technology. The CUPRA Leon Estate features 30 litres of extra luggage space in the boot compared to its sister CUPRA Leon hatchback.

Performance

The CUPRA Leon Estate is available in four different Petrol TSI variations including a plug-in hybrid. The four engine variations are:

  • 1.5 TSI EVO 150 PS
  • 1.5 eTSI EVO 150 PS
  • 1.4 e-HYBRID DSG-auto AFV 245 PS
  • 2.0 TSI DSG-auto 310 PS

All engine variants are paired to a DSG dual-clutch transmission that ensure sharp, crisps and smooth gear change or a 6-speed manual gearbox. The shift-by-wire technology is designed so that the gear selector is not connected to the gearbox mechanically, instead using electronic signals to make shifts. When drivers want an even more interactive experience, steering wheel-mounted shift paddles bring the connection between vehicle and driver together.

4Drive technology constantly monitors the car and driver inputs to deliver power to the wheel with the most grip, at the precise time it needs it. Acceleration for the CUPRA Leon Estate comes in at 0 - 62mph in fewer than 5 seconds and has an electronically-limited top speed of 155mph.

CUPRA Leon Estate e-Hybrid

The Leon Estates e-Hybrid setup makes use of a 1.4-litre petrol engine which is then linked to an electric motor and a 13 kWh battery.

Thanks to the latter, you should get up to 32 miles of electric-only power, while CO2 emissions stand at below 50g/km, depending on the wheel size you opt for. It offers up more than enough performance, however, with a 0-60mph time of 7.2 seconds.
