Accounts Assistant

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join our Accounts Team at our Head Office in Crewe. Reporting into the Group Accountant, you will assist with the accounts payable within Head Office. Each month you will also assist in the production of the month end reporting and the management accounts.

As an Accounts Assistant, you will play an important part in supporting the department with day-to-day administration such as; production of invoices, paying of invoices, purchase ledger, daily banking, daily reporting and payment. Throughout the day, you will also assist with day-to-day administration such as scanning and filing.

More about you:
  • Minimum of two years’ experience within an accounts environment
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel
  • Previous experience in the Motor Trade industry (desirable)
  • AAT qualified or working towards
  • Ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Sage 200 experience (desirable)
