As a family owned and run business, Swansway Motor Group likes to celebrate its long-serving staff members.

After five years, staff receive a Swansway silver pin and after ten years a solid gold pin; but perhaps most fun is the Long Service dinner, hosted in February each year, where long serving staff are treated to a fab night of dining and entertainment.

This year the Long Service Dinner itself is celebrating its long service, as the fifth dinner is hosted on 18 February 2017 at historic Crewe Hall.

In the five years the event has been in existence numbers of long-serving staff have continue to grow; from just over a 100 in 2012 to over 260 in 2017.

Entertainment has included an ABBA tribute band, a guest appearance from Barry Cryer and casino. Due to popular demand, the casino will be making a return for the 2017 event.

Swansway Group Director, David Smyth commented, “This event is something I genuinely look forward to, it’s great to have all our long-term staff together, letting their hair down and celebrating working for our family business. It’s a great feeling and something of which my dad and my brothers are really proud”.
