Swansway Group’s new training and mentoring programme has produced its second graduate; Alistair Martin, 29, from Stafford Audi, follows Natalia Ferrer from Volkswagen Van Centre Birmingham, in becoming a fully-fledged Salesperson.
Alistair has spent nine months learning the business, from top to bottom, with the support of internal and external mentors and passed his final assessment with flying colours.
Stafford Audi Head of Business, Neil Rimmer, is delighted with his newest Salesperson’s achievement and added, “Alistair is a genuine, hard-working, young man, he’s become a very popular member of the team and we wanted to mark his graduation with a flourish”!
“When a trainee, graduates they are given their own company demonstrator car,” explained Neil, “Kevin Cunliffe, our New Car Sales Manager, revealed Alistair’s demonstrator in style and his colleagues, made a guard of honour. Well done Alistair”.
It’s been a busy year for Alistair, who has also found the time to marry his childhood sweetheart. His boss, Kevin Cunliffe added, “He is now up and running selling cars and delighting customers, he really embodies the Swansway culture of caring, honest and proud and he has a great career ahead of him”.
Alistair is now looking forward to bright future within Swansway, “I’ve learnt such a lot and the mentoring process has really helped me understand the business; today was just great, it was fantastic that everyone really made my graduation such a fun event, but now I really want to get stuck in and prove my worth”.
