Aged, 21, I finished my degree in Fine Art, though I’ve not used those skills since, apart from the kids homework, but I did have a very good time! My career began with an intensive management course for an off license chain; I gained my first qualification in management, including customer and employee relations, which is what I’ve done ever since.
Since then I’ve been in management roles in a variety of sectors; retail, heritage buildings, HR, logistics and now the Retailer Support Centre. I heard about Swansway from a friend whose husband works here, I’d mentioned I was looking for a new challenge and she suggested I send my CV in.
My role as Group Retailer Support Leader is very challenging, never two days the same and never time to get bored! There’s been much change in the last 12 months, all for the better; there’s still work to be done, but we’ve already doubled our aftersales bookings in the last 12 months, more than doubled our service plan sales, and we’re now focussing on delivering the best value retail bookings that we can for the group.
I am so proud of my team and what we’ve achieved so far, it’s been great to be a part of it.
I feel like I’ve found a great job for a great company and I’ve also developed a new found obsession for Audi since starting and I’ll take delivery of my very first Audi in just a couple of weeks
Away from work I’m married with three children aged 14, 12 and 10. As you might imagine, I spend most of my time ferrying them around and being mums taxi, which the new Audi Q3 will help with! For a bit of ‘me time’ I love going to gigs, particularly Noel Gallagher, another obsession of mine and I’m passionate about my beloved Manchester United!
