The Railroaders play their matches on Saturdays and Sundays during the short season, April 27 to August 17, and enjoy crowds of between 100 and 150 at home games.
Because strategies, set pieces and health and safety are key elements to the game, the guys train more than normal sports, up to three hours on a Wednesday, and up to four hours on the Sundays they don’t have a match.
