Retailer Support Executive (Outbound) Job Description

The purpose of the Retailer Support Executive (Outbound) is to make outbound calls from campaign lists to acquire retail work for our dealerships around Servicing and MOT’s whilst exploring opportunities to sell additional products.

Role Purpose:

  • Achievement of set sales and revenue targets, in a B2C environment, delivered through effective open questioning, matching needs, discussing relevant features and benefits, objection handling and actively closing the sale. This must be achieved by promoting the value of our products/services and not exceeding set discounts.
  • Gain access to key decision makers, through building rapport and representing the brand.
  • Effectively engage with customers who are thinking of leaving us, reviewing their needs and reasons for leaving, positively promoting out differences versus competitors and where appropriate discuss suitable alternatives
  • Achievement of set additional products, up-sell, cross sell, delivered through open and exploratory questioning, establishing needs and converting them into sales
  • Excellent product knowledge and awareness of our competitor offers, objection handle and provide accurate facts to secure sales. Maintain this through keeping updated daily on briefs/training aids and taking ownership for completing your own research on products/competitors
  • Effective and efficient uses of all business systems to ensure that sales are completed right first time and within set handle time parameters (AHT). Taking ownership to contact the customer/update the systems to ensure that an mistakes have been put right
  • Achievement of expected data capture, such as email, telephone numbers, address and car details. Deliver this through explaining benefits to the customer in a way that reassures and promotes the brand
  • Achievement of all objectives set in coaching, monthly reviews or feedback sessions to improve performance, knowledge and skills
  • Effective handling of all customers’ requests, where you have the system and knowledge capability take ownership of resolution without the need to pass the enquiry on to other teams
