The services provided for Honda Accident Assistance are for customers who have either purchased their car after 31 December 2012 or do not have a Honda Replacement Vehicle Policy. Terms and conditions and entitlements for Replacement Vehicle Policy Holders will be in the welcome pack you received shortly after you purchased your vehicle from your Honda Dealer. WHAT DO I DO IF I'M IN AN ACCIDENT?

  • Call 0800 521 728 (press option 2 for accident management).
  • Stay calm and move to a safe place.
  • Don't get involved in an argument.
  • Don't admit responsibility. Even saying sorry could be interpreted as you taking responsibility for the accident.
  • Exchange contact details with anyone involved.
  • Take the other parties insurance details.
  • Take names and contact details of any witnesses willing to give them to you.
  • Note where the cars collided.
  • Record any damage to your car and any third part vehicles (take photos if possible).

WHAT DETAILS DO I NEED TO TAKE DOWN?

For third party details, you'll need:

  • Their name.
  • Address.
  • Phone number.
  • Car registration number.
  • Their insurance company and policy number.

It's wise to also get the name, address and phone number of any witnesses at the scene.

WHAT OTHER DETAILS DO I NEED?

  • The speed you were travelling
  • The weather conditions
  • The point of impact on your vehicle and theirs
  • Any other additional notes that you think are relevant
