Josh’s First Year Flies By

I started working for Swansway when I moved from the valleys of South Wales to Wrexham. My family made the move as both my parents were given job transfers to Tata Steel on Deeside.

Prior to the move I’d worked as a Parts Advisor for DAF Trucks for eighteen months. When I started looking for a job I noticed a few advertised for the Swansway Group, but when I saw the vacancy for a Renewals Advisor and read the job description, I knew that the role was for me and I applied straight away.

I’ve been here a year now and my roles include; keeping in contact with customers to ensure everything is going well with their car and that they’re happy with both their car and with the customer service they’re receiving from Swansway.

I’m trying to build rapport with each of the customers I contact, with a view to retaining their repeat business. One way we do this is by contacting customers, advising them when the financially optimum time is to change their vehicle.

I enjoy talking to all the customers across the group’s many brands and it’s entertaining too, believe you me, you talk to some real characters along the way!

Renewals is a small team, we’re a very tight knit team and we all work really well together.

It’s been a fantastic year and I hope for many more to come.
