DS Automobiles is supporting creative excellence in the arts, by sponsoring the Visual Art accolade at the South Bank Sky Arts Awards 2016. The South Bank Sky Arts Awards 2016 will be presented in London on 5 June.

Hosted by Melvyn Bragg, The South Bank Sky Arts Awards – which celebrate its 20th anniversary this year – is the highlight of the UK arts calendar and honours the very best of British culture and achievement.
Renowned for iconic automotive design focusing on personal expression, DS Automobiles is celebrating creativity and innovation by sponsoring the coveted Visual Art category. The nominees for the Visual Art prize this year are: Cornelia Parker for Magna Carta (An Embroidery); Lynette Yiadom-Boakye for Verses After Dusk; and Banksy celebrates 25 years of street art with a nomination for Dismaland Bemusement Park.
Visual Art will be one of ten category awards presented at The Savoy in London on 5 June. The South Bank Sky Arts Awards focus on the arts in their entirety. The other categories are Classical Music, Literature, Theatre, Pop, Comedy, TV Drama, Opera, Film and Dance. The awards programme will be broadcast on Sky Arts on 8 June.
